Cian’s Nursery

My decorating style has always been all over the place.  I love anything antique/vintage, french country, shabby chic, modern, industrial – you name it.  Blending all of these styles together cohesively is a bit of a challenge sometimes but I always love the end result.  I guess the best way to describe my style is eclectic as I love to encompass a variety of periods and styles together using color and texture.

For my son Cian’s nursery, my goal was to create a neutral, bright and happy room.  I also didn’t want to spend a ton of money – baby furniture is expensive!!  I purchased a vintage style crib from target and mixed in some old pieces of furniture I had from my single days. Marc and I were also gifted beautifully knitted blankets from various family members which adds great color and texture to the room.  One of the blankets is Marc’s baby blanket – so perfect that it’s now in our sons room!  ðŸ™‚ All that’s left to do is wait for Cian’s arrival – 11 more days!!
