Beacon Hill Engagement :: Kristen & Thomas

Boston’s Beacon Hill is hands down my favorite place to shoot engagement sessions.  This area is so full of history and charm – which is right up my alley. Needless to say I was thrilled when Kristen told me that they decided on Beacon Hill as their engagement session location.  This area has it all – colonial brick row houses, colorful flower boxes, gorgeous doors, decorative iron work, charming gas lamps and brick sidewalks.  Whenever I shoot here I always discover new spots to photograph.

While we were strolling through this classic Boston neighborhood, Kristen and Tom told me the adorable story of how he proposed.  Kristen loves magic tricks, so while on a date at a magic parlor Tom slipped the magician a card.  When the magician came to their table he asked Kristen to pick a card from his deck.  The magician guessed the wrong card but then asked her about the card in Tom’s shirt.  She excitedly picked the card from Tom’s shirt pocket and written on it was “will you marry me?” (see the photo below).  How awesome is that!! 🙂
