Passion Project Boudoir Workshop :: March 2017

A few weeks ago I joined a few really talented photographers and stylists at a boudoir workshop hosted by Katherine Henry Boudoir and Tada Style.  Their Passion Project workshop was a real eye opener for me - I learned a ton.  I'm super excited to apply what I learned into my own boudoir business.

Most of the images below were shot with my 70mm - 200mm lens.  It took me a while to get use to this lens but now I can't live without it.  I wanted tight shots - I'm loving the results! :)

Moraine Farm Wedding :: Christine & Eric

Last Summer I had the opportunity to second shoot for Jessica of Jessica Ruth Photography.  Jessica's clients, Christine and Eric, were married at Moraine Farm in Beverly Ma on a gorgeous warm July afternoon.  I remember their ceremony was quick but heartfelt and the bridesmaids dresses were lovely shades of gray.

A little side note: I was very pregnant at this wedding and boy did I feel it throughout the day.  It's crazy to think that It was only thirteen days after this wedding that Marc and I welcomed our baby boy.

When Marc and I bought our house in 2014 I knew I would make good use out of the third floor.  Honestly the space is nothing fancy - basically a finished attic.  However, the walls are all white and there are four windows that let in a ton of natural light.  So, when we moved in I stuck my old Ikea bed up there with a few random antiques and POOF - my boudoir studio was born.  Below is the fourth session I've held in my home studio and I have to say, I think the results are awesome! :)

Danversport Yacht Club Wedding :: Lindsey + Jason

On August 13th, Lindsey and Jason had a gorgeous Summer wedding at The Danversport Yacht Club.   The happy couple tied the knot outside with a beautiful view of the marina.  After Lindsey and Jason said their I dos guests were invited indoors to enjoy a night of delicious food, cocktails hilarious speeches and dancing.

I shot this wedding along side Dasha of Dasha Kazakova Photography.  I was thrilled when she invited me along with her to shoot as this was my first wedding after the arrival of Cian.  It felt really nice to get back into the swing of things.
